I don't have time right now, but could someone who has research time to a search for info on this Oct 10, 2009 and the rapture. This is a jewish holiday that holds great significance and has meaning about the bride and bridegroom. I believe all the dates through the tribulation fall in line from this date. When I get time tomorrow I will try and find the article I read about this. I believe it was one of the most fascinating articles I have read on the pre trib rapture theory.

The article I read was at http://www.rapture2009.org/endtimes.htm. Scroll down to the article titled "Christ is Coming Soon (How close are we?) by Ken Scamman". Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks for posting this. My interest in the Great Pyramid peaked a year or so ago when I came across something on the web about it. I think there's something to this.

This sums up the article:
OCT 10, 2009(Shemini Atzerat) + 1260 days = March 23, 2013(Sat) (Shabbat Hagadol, or Great Sabbath (Palm Sunday is next day))
Mar 23, 2013 + 1260 days = Sep 3, 2016(Sat) (Rosh Chodesh Elul or first day of the month of Elul, or the time when the King is in the field. This is the date when Moses went back up Mt. Zion to get the 10 commandments once again)
Sep 3, 2016 + 30days(Dan 12:11) = Oct 3, 2016(Mon)(Rosh Hashanah or Jewish New Year)
Oct 3, 2016 + 45days(1335 days of Daniel 12:12) = Nov 17, 2016(Thur)( month of Cheshvan which is reserved for the time of the Messiah).
Things that have taken place on 17 of Cheshvan 1. Day the flood began 2. Day Solomans temple was completed 3. Day in 1917 “The Balfour Delaration” was issued, promising Israel a homeland. This will be 100 years to the day which could be a full generation.

Vigilantius, Do you think God put numbers in the Bible to waste our time? I do believe everything in the Bible is there for a reason, how about you? Sorry, don't mean to be confronting, just curious what people think about numerology in the Bible and why it's there (rapture timing aside).

Is numerology actually in the Bible?
I know that there are a few very specific places where we are told that a certain period of time will transpire before certain events. I know that there are some very interesting correlations between various numbers in Scripture.
Can't we formulate Biblical numbers to arrive at pretty much any conclusion we want to, depending on what we select?
Is there anything in Scripture that tells us we should use these dates and numbers in the way this article sets forth?
Love in Christ, Mark

There are demonstrated instances in scripture where numerical peculiarities appear in a manner that is clearly non-random and beyond the ability of men to conceal there. I don't know of specific dates pointed too, but I do believe that things have been planted in the text and beneath the text by the Holy Spirit as a sort of 'watermark' that validates the Author. Some have been found. Others probably still await discovery. Numerology may not be the best description, but the phenomenon appears to be legitimate and warrants further study.

With respect to the pyramid that modern Egypt claims as its own...
Isn't it interesting that such a monument (I'm told) bears no identifying mark or symbol that validates the claim that Egyptians constructed it? The zodiac is a corruption of the original "gospel in the stars" some say. Isn't it interesting that the Pyramid's geometry and orientation produce alignments of such Biblical interest? I don't know for sure what it means, but it is pretty interesting.

Younglion, I agree, it is fascinating. As per the term Numerology, I don't know the specific definition, but I refer to numerology as the use of numbers. I am quite sure the Bible uses numbers. This is why I say it uses Numerology. Sorry for confusion if you guys are thinking of something different. So my question still stands; Do you think the numbers are there for a reason?

Dolfseal, do you have any thoughts on "no man will know the day and the hour?" What I mean is that October 10, 2009 is a particular day which someone seems know as the day of the rapture...
Blessings, KA

Good question Keepingalert, I was thinking about this the other day when I read about the warning to the church in Philadelphia. They are told that they should pray that they are found worthy to escape the hour of temptation. I you read the scripture you quoted in King James Version I believe it says "about that day or hour no one knows" or something to that effect. I am wondering if it is referring to the Day of Judgement and/or the Hour of Temptation. Remember, the 10 kings receive their power for one hour. Could this be the seven year trib? Now, about that day or hour could refer to the details of the DOL. Why would the angels long to know about the day or hour if it is referring to the timing. The angels are in Heaven where time is limitless, whats the big deal of knowing the timing of the day. I think it is referring to the details of the day or hour. With this line of thinking, I think it is possible to figure out the timing of everything based on the numbers given in the Bible and the history of Jewish culture, along with the feasts given in the old testament.

LCROSS and its attached Centaur upper stage rocket separately will collide with the moon at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 9, 2009, creating a pair of debris plumes that will be analyzed for the presence of water ice or water vapor, hydrocarbons and hydrated.
JUST THINKING?

Take a peek at prophecyinthenews.com (Tuesday's -10/27/09- broadcast). Sort of interesting. The depth of info 'hidden' under our noses is pretty wild. Okay, so sometimes the nuggets are esoteric... and I know that many detest the whole Bible code phenomenon, but even if we can't agree, it still makes us scratch our heads and shout, 'gee whiz!' Gee whiz is something we can all agree on?!

Having some problem with the connection with prophecyinthenews today. I know they were counting the verse from Deut 32. What verse was it that made him say that it would be 20 years later?

Even if the trib started in 20 years that doesn't mean we're here as long as that. I personally can't escape the thought the rapture has to occur at least a few years before the tribulation. I believe the rapture will have catastrophic effects on the earth that will take them *years* to recover from; and may very well cause the new world order that gives rise to ten kings over ten regions. Having the rapture happen years beforehand would also give those left time to re-establish their lives and get on with "life as usual", which it appears they are doing at the start of the trib.
