Prayers needed./surgery today

Please pray for my Mom. Have to take her to Dr.'s, she has been coughing up blood for two weeks. She has COPD, so I am hoping it is just from that. And please pray for me. My Mom has verbally abused me since I was a small child. With this news and her verbal assaualt on me yesterday, my blood pressure has skyrocketed. Literally.

I was telling her something about prophecy related news yesterday, and her answer was 'So What ! I don't need to hear it, or worry about stuff like that. Worrying about that kind of stuff is probably what has aged you so drastically."

Actually, I have aged quite well. My mother just loves to hurt me. Too much info, I know. but I do need the prayers, so wanted to be honest with what I deal with all the time.

Yeshua loves you more than words, thoughts, or deeds could ever express. I am so sorry for the emotional scars your earthly mother has given you. One day, those feelings will be no more. In the mean time, God is shaping your end. There is a plan behind the pain and pressure. Thank you for being such a faithful daughter and bringing her needs forward for prayer, even when she continues to hurt you.

Praying for you today Sis! I come from a similar situation. My Dad was verbally/physically abusive to myself and my sister for many years. I once witnesses to my folks when I was a new Christian and I'm sure that made my Dad think I was crazy, but when he knew he was dying he wanted to hear about Jesus. Praise the Lord for that!

Have to take Mom for blood work and a cat scan later this week. Xray showed a spot on her lung.

I've been waiting for more news before updating, but will need prayer before that. Mom has a tumor on her bronchial tube. She had a PET scan yesterday to see if it is elsewhere in her body. A pulmonary function test today and tomorrow, in preparation for surgery.

Her new doctor is trying to schedule her bronchoscopy and surgery for the same time. They will biopsy the tumor through the scope, and go through her neck to her lymph nodes. If it is in her lymph nodes, no surgery. If her lymph nodes are cancer free, the will operate.

The operation itself will be a bit more complicate. They will completely cut off her bronchial tube above, as well as below the tumor, and then resection it back together.

Mom is 75, so the operation scares me as much as the cancer.

My blood pressure was much higher than what my home monitor showed. Dr. didn't like the sound of my heart, so they did an ekg on me. I passed. He put me on medication that only cost 4 dollars, and told me he would see me for free if I would return in a week.(No Insurance) God really worked in my situation. I was already doing everything right, physically, but haven't had a dr.s care except for the Lymes disease. I know everything is in the Lords hands, and he is with me, but is is hard to avoid stress or not be scared. I don't want to lose my Mom yet.

Praise the Lord, the PET scan was clean. Bronchoscopy was this morning. Results from that re surgery visit on Monday. I have to stay with Mom this afternoon and over night, in case she starts coughing up too much blood from the biopsy.

The dr' said Mom is a very high risk patient. She was only at 50% on the pulmonary function test. If they had to take her whole lung, she wouldn't survive.They don't think they will have to take more than the upper lobe, but it may be different once they go in.

I will be with her at the hospital most of next week, and at her house with her when she comes back home.

Please continue to keep us in your prayers. You have no idea what a comfort it is to me, to know People are praying on our behalf.
On top of everything else, the tension has caused the arthritis to act up again in my neck.

Mom's surgery will be on Tuesday. Thank you.

Please pray for Mom today. If her lymph nodes are cancer free, she will go through a high risk surgery to remove her upper right lobe, and hopefully no more. Dr.'s said she will not last 3 days if they remove the whole lung.

If you are a smoker, please quit for the sake of your loved ones, if not for yourself.
