Hmmm... it is still deleted, Wayfarer. Do you think there is any chance that we could have it un-deleted? It's been an awfully long time... perhaps too long. I don't know if there's anything we can do...

I subscribe to the Intelligent Design Theory.

Someone must have posted something.

Or else deleted something. I firmly believe that... I think.

I think billions of days ago, this forum was just a dot on a computer screen. Then one day, the dot exploded and a bunch of random letters formed "post deleted" in one of the randomly created sub-forums.

Intelligent Design  That's awesome!

So we can agree that there is a certain irreducable complexity surrounding this thread?

Intelligent Design explains the STRUCTURE but how do we explain the LIFE force that seems to embody this thread?

What is life anyway? How do we define something that we can't measure? hmmm...

This thread is just as philosophical as when it began (or didn't...depending on how you look at it).

If we were to ask the politicians about this post, I believe they would say something like this:

I actually did vote for the deleted post before I voted against it.
-John Kerry

During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet.
And the deleted post on Fulfilled Prophecy's Discussion Board.
- Al Gore

Americans... still believe in an America where anything's possible (like deleted posts) - they just don't think their leaders do.
- Barack Obama

"When I was in England, I experimented with deleted posts a time or two, and I didn't like it. I didn't inhale and never tried it again."
–Bill Clinton

"Read my lips, no new deleted posts!"
- George Bush Sr.

"I must have way too much time on my hands to be posting this, especially since the post was deleted."

Do we have any knowledge about the deleted post, so that we can make an informed decision as to whether or not we would have even read the thread, or whether or not we even care that it was deleted. I think its really important that we know what we missed so that we can really establish how we feel about the loss.

from mark s's tin hat url...

The helmets amplify frequency bands that coincide with those allocated to the US government between 1.2 Ghz and 1.4 Ghz. According to the FCC, These bands are supposedly reserved for ''radio location'' (ie, GPS), and other communications with satellites (see, for example, [3]). The 2.6 Ghz band coincides with mobile phone technology. Though not affiliated by government, these bands are at the hands of multinational corporations.

It requires no stretch of the imagination to conclude that the current helmet craze is likely to have been propagated by the Government, possibly with the involvement of the FCC. We hope this report will encourage the paranoid community to develop improved helmet designs to avoid falling prey to these shortcomings.

Hmmm there is a thought. It reminds me of Backwards Masking.

Post Deleted, spelled backwards, is...

deteled tsop ... hmmm, nothing there, is there?
Unless you remember the pronunciation is like this:
Duh TEE leed tsohp ... Hmmm, anything there?
Question: What is Tea lede soap?

Oh, I get it! This is definitely street talk. "Da Tea lea(ve)d soap."
See? you have to work at it a while, before you receive insight into these deep matters.
This has everything to do with things of the future. Tea leaves. In soap.
Which begs the question... why would someone be talking about tea leaved soap, in street talk?
It's obviously an undercover agent. (Most elementary, Watson.)
Someone out there has been using soap to disguise fortune telling. But why?

I was just thinking (feeling?) about this thread.

How many other posts must have been deleted that no one ever cared about? What makes this deleted post so special that it REFUSES to go away? Does this deleted thread carry 'survival guilt'? Is there a sense of victory? or unstoppability? Does it thrill at its own existence, or is it merely scraping by...dragging itself from one post to the next?

Certainly humorous at times. And certainly unusual. Is there a touch of insanity, also? I think so.

Can anyone really fathom the great not-there-ness of being deleted?

We must try!

You are right! Silly me.

I was thinking.......If the occasion arose, that the original author of this deleted thread was to think about un-deleting.......could it be done since the board was upgraded since the original deletion? I do not want to inject a sense of hopelessness here, but I am concerned that we may never uncover the real beginnings of this thread. Any geeks out there that could expand on this? I may just be left with my fond memories, of when this thread first appeared....

I believe in "Once Deleted, Always Deleted." Deletion is a little different from Salvation, wouldn"t you suppose? Seems almost to be rather the direct opposite.

I wonder how many others would subscribe to the same belief?

Perhaps we ought to do a poll. Yes, When all else fails, do a poll. After all, is it not important that we all come to a consensus on this subject?

Fortunately the information in the original posting can be retrieved. Deleting it only removes the digital information from the board, but aromatic information still remains. Please scroll back up to the top and scratch the area where it says "post deleted" this will allow you to smell (or sniff if you want to get technical) the remaining aroma. Now if you smell orange this means that the letter "o" was used in the post.
I can so far identify biscuit, egg, coffee, apple, umbrella and sock and egg again. So we can say without any doubt that the post included those letters.

So far we have "BECAUSE", not much sense now but im sure we'll crack it.
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
