This talk is from people who apparently know nothing about end times prophecy.
I predict this is the last shopping season when Asian made products such as computers seem affordable.
I predict a $500 laptop this year sells for the equivalence of $1,500 next year. (In whatever currency)

It's funny you should mention that on Computer products- going up in price. Over the years I've watched as component prices for pretty much everything have steadily fallen over time as new products come out. Things that most people don't pay attention to because the just buy things like laptops or desktops, have not fallen in price at all in the last 9-12 months. What I'm referring to are things like processors, hard drives, video cards, system memory. I'm in the computer/IT business, and have built a lot of computers over the years. Periodically I flip through catalogs at places like Tigerdirect or others just to see what things are going for. For example, a 1TB SATA hard drive goes for about $85 - a year ago it was about $90. In years past the the prices of these things have dropped like a stone once the bigger capacities have come out. Now they just seem to be hanging at the same price, and the new ones are getting more and more expensive. The only thing in this area that I've seen continue to go down have been monitors, and I think that's just because they've built so much capacity to make larger and larger LCD's overseas that they just have to keep dumping them as cheaply as they can.

I just thought I'd mention it, since I've never seen computer component prices stay the same for so long.
