10 EU nations to meet in Germany to discus future

The meeting does not appear on the official website of the German foreign ministry as it is meant to be an informal event at the Villa Borsig, north of Berlin. Invited were the foreign ministers of France, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Poland, Portugal and Spain.

But by leaving out 17 of the EU's 27 states, Westerwelle has stepped on the toes of some of his colleagues.

The 11th non-EU nation is Austria.

OK so there are 11 meeting though.

Just keeping an eye out, and given that Germany is the de facto leader of the EU they are in focus until something changes.
Re: number of horns , 11 is still an intersting number nevertheless. And only 10 are from the EU so Austria is the odd one out - (Hitlers home country).

Not likely to be an explosive meeting but I like to post these instances just in case something comes of it.

I believe Austria has been a full EU member since 1995.
