Who is our president...?

Postby exjarhead on Tue Nov 03, 2009 8:30 pm

Interesting video...it is sometimes hard to believe the days we are living in. Lord give us wisdom.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:6-8

I don't know if he's a closet Muslim, but he definitely sympathizes with them.

There is no question here. The man who holds the office of the president for the United States of America is not the kind of christian we relate to. IMO, he plays all sides to the middle, because we know about enough of his agenda to know what his goals are. He wants a one world system, and it takes unity between all to accomplish this. He empathizes with everyone, christians, muslims, hindus, the whole nine yards, because I sincerely believe that he believes this is the path he needs to take in order to bring all of these together.

My husband and I watched this video last night, I watched it more than once. At the end of the day, my true impressions were that some of the clips were different parts of the same speeches. The subject of those speeches and the audiences have a lot to do with the carefully chosen words he provided, and when played atop those said only moments ago, it makes it sound as though he is focused on the Muslims, which is think is not entirely telling of the true story.

IMO, he is a cameleon. He changes himself to fit the audience he is playing to. He plays to all audiences, and each group of people walks away with the impression that this is a man who "gets it." These tactics cause him to gain the confidence and trust of people from all walks of life. In truth, I believe he is much more inclined to represent the interests of a world body as opposed to representing the interests of a diverse American body....he just uses us as an example to elevate himself.

Whether they pray to Allah, Muhamed, God, or Jesus. They are mouthing the words as an end to their master's means. Most politicians in the US Government are millionaires. That means that their actions show who is the god that they pray to. It matters not what comes from their mouth. All this stuff about Obama being a muslim is just distraction. Follow the money. The money trail will lead to the power which leads to the corruption which leads to Satan. Just my .02. YBIC, Ron

No true Christian even if a diplomat would praise another false God's religion in the manner that Obama has done.
It is to the great shame of the USA electorate that it was so non christian and so undiscerning that it would elect such a man. :doh:
One is not supposed to read a book by its cover and Obama rose under the cover of his mixed race skin color and Harvard
credentials. Both are not spiritual factors but simply trappings of this world. I do not think he is a great public speaker. He was simply the best public speaker that America has put forth of his racial background for many years.
No speaking disrespectfully, or with contempt, about the President, his Office, or the United States government. We are to respect the authority God places over us. It's OK to disagree. Just do it with respect.

I only quoted these two lines to show my point. We are supposed to read a book by it's cover, Jesus said so.

Matthew 7:15-20;
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

And this would especially apply to those who "profess" faith.
Mark

All Scripture from NKJV

The Narrow Way
Matthew 7:13-14;
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Mixing of metaphors does not work here.
You cannot judge a book by its cover but you can judge a book by what it engenders (the fruit) in the lives of men. Example the Bible.
No speaking disrespectfully, or with contempt, about the President, his Office, or the United States government. We are to respect the authority God places over us. It's OK to disagree. Just do it with respect.

Very well said, GodsStudent, and I completely agree! He is a very slick, accomplished cameleon, who changes his tune with every audience he plays to, all to elevate himself in their eyes.

Everytime I see something like this I think of the promise God makes that he will remove his restraining hand and allow evil to take over the world. All the horses are in the starting gates. With the rapture of the church the race will begin soon.
