Where is the Antichrist’s Birth Certificate?

How do we determine what is an important doctrine?
One of those hermeneutic principles is quite simple:
we determine what is important for us if it was important to the biblical authors.
So we should ask ourselves, was the ethnic origin of the Antichrist
ever important—or even mentioned—by Jesus or the apostle Paul? Nope. Not even a hint. Do we find in Jesus or Paul’s
teaching any directive to determine the birth certificate of a claimant Antichrist to establish his legitimacy?
No. Instead, we find consistently Jesus and Paul teaching us that we will know who Antichrist is through his actions.

Arnold G. Fruchtenbaum made an interesting observation that I had not considered before:

There will also be two distinct religious systems; one for each half of the Tribulation. The religious system of the first half of the Tribulation is what is described in Revelation 17 in terms of "ecclesiastical" Babylon. There will be a unification of all false denominations and all false religions into a one-world super-religious system. This one-world super-religious system will control the religious affairs of the world during the first half of the Tribulation.

Those who do not submit to its religious authority will suffer persecution. But in the middle of the Tribulation and after the Antichrist takes over political control, he will himself destroy this one-world religious system. He will then take over the Jewish Temple; seat himself in the Holy of Holies of the Jewish Temple; and declare himself to be the one true god. Thus, the religious system of the second half of the Tribulation will be the worship of the Antichrist. Those who accept him as God must signify it by taking his mark of 666.

If Fruchtenbaum is right, there won't be room for Islam or any other religious system during the great-tribulation.

Yeah it's the whole Judeo/Christian vs. Muslim issue.

I admit that I waffle between the two. (I noticed my wife had waffles on the breakfast menu for today but we didn't make them and now I must be craving them or something) anyway ... sometimes it seems as though Christianity will blend with New Age and other 'camps' to form a one world religion based on self improvement (basically everybody is their own god). I'm thinking about warm melted butter and maple syrup .. maybe some whipped cream. Strawberries are in season and would make a nice topping ...

... and then I see how Islam could take over the world by force and be that one world religion as well.

I suspect that it will be much like a horserace and the winner will start separating themselves from the pack and then we'll have a clear picture and be able to pray and witness accordingly when the time comes.

As far as that birth certificate goes, we know from recent news that birth certificates are easily modified and information is covered up.

The A/C will be quite a force to be reckoned with ... until all the King's horses and all the King's men (and women!) dressed in white come and restore order.

Can't wait for Jesus to reign and set everything His perfect order. He reigns in my heart now though.
