Praise God! What a Miracle!!

My husband & I are on the prayer chain at our church. About a week ago we were asked to pray for the pastor's mother's sister in law, as she had a massive stroke and was not expected to live. This afternoon we were praying for Carol, her husband & her family at prayer watch. We were told that the doctors said that she was "brain dead", on life support, & that they were going to pull the plug as there was no hope. They were even planning her funeral. We weren't home from prayer watch one hour when the pastor's mother phoned to tell us that Carol was sitting up in bed at the hospital & talking! Thank you Jesus! You are so good!

A bit more of an update! Carol is doing great! No memory loss! Her husband, Kim was actually told that they were going to pull the plug on her after moving her to another floor of the hospital the next morning. When he & his grandson came back the following day, that Sunday, the day we had prayer watch, Kim & his grandson went to the same floor of the hospital to ask the floor nurse where they had moved her. Now, the doctors had been wanting to pull the plug for a week, but Kim kept asking them to please just give her a little more time. Well, when Kim asked the floor nurse where he could find Carol, the nurse told him that they hadn't moved her, that she was still in the same room. A little confused, Kim & his grandson walked over to the room where they saw Carol sitting up in bed, waving her arms around, talking to a nurse! No breathing tube, no feeding tube!
This is so amazing! Lord, you are so good! Thank You Jesus!

It's also a good reminder of us needing to realize that God does things in His time, not ours.
