Hi, all:
Just something small, but special I wanted to share with everyone.
I woke up yesterday morning and was talking with Abba when I sensed a distinct suggestion to "go larking" and do my shopping in "Big City" instead of local "small city". I like to go "larking", so I said, "Okay, sure!", packed up the children, and left for some adventure. :-)
This Big City has a string of thrift shops on the east side that we like to stop into, and at the very first one, I found the exact older sewing machine I'd been hoping to find one day, complete with the necessary attachments, and it still works just fine.
This is not a machine you find on every street corner and one could say it's actually fairly rare--especially with the attachments! Abba sent me to "Big City" specifically to find this machine, and better yet, the machine was 1/2 off an already affordable price due to a manager's-choice sale, and had apparently just been put on the floor.
Granted, this isn't a medical miracle, a job or salvation, but I find these everyday kinds of "miracles" are my favorite, because they're so intimately geared and shows that He not only knows my hopes, but cares enough to arrange to meet them. :-)
He's a sweet Abba and I wanted to brag on Him a little bit.
Have a glorious day, everyone!
CC :-)
