My child, the trials that you now face, are but My preparation for what lies ahead. Just as I took My children through the wilderness to teach them to trust and obey me, so I am taking you through the wilderness. Because of their stiff neck and rebellious ways it took 40 years, and into the next generation. Had they obeyed and believed they could have quickly entered the promised land.

Many of the trials you are in are not from the evil one, but they are sent by Me, to test you. Remember that I LED, the children of Israel through the wilderness by My glory cloud straight into the wilderness from the Red Sea. Ex 14:20

When the people murmured and complained that there was no water to drink, I LED them to to Marah where the water was bitter, and then I CAST A TREE INTO THE WATERS, and it made them sweet for My people to drink. Even after all this and what I had done before in Egypt before Pharaoh they did not believe. And I took them to Elim where there were twelve wells of water, yet they continued in their murmuring and complaining against Me. Exodus 15:22,27 Many of your circumstances and testings continue endlessly because you grumble and complain. If you had praised Me and thanked me for the trials, that they may perfect you, I would shorten your wilderness experience.

When they complained they had nothing to eat. I sent them manna from heaven with requirements that were to be obeyed. Ex 16:4 I give you manna, the bread of My word, to meet your every need, but You must obey My word for it to change you and your circumstances. My bread gives life. My promises are yea, and amen and your faith even as small as a mustard seed, will ACTIVATE My promises in your life as you walk out My word.

Self lies at the center of your disobedience and thus your difficulties. And self began with Eve, even though she was deceived by the evil one, she chose to obey self, the self willed flesh, as did Adam. I would have you lay down self, to deny self, so that My life can reign in you. Self is rebellion, self is the sinful flesh that wants to do things its way, that demands that you give it what it wants and desires, it is self willed and not by My will. As you deny self and choose My perfect will, you will quickly move through your wilderness. These trials are My fire that will burn away all that comes from self, so that you will be created into My image and that when the hour of trial comes upon the whole earth, you will be ready to obey My leading, so that you do not go the way of destruction. You must KNOW Me, and MY VOICE, above all others, how else will you know when I am leading you. The children of Israel saw all the miracles I did in among them, yet they did not hearken to My voice. Numbers 14:22
Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

You must go through much tribulation to enter into the kingdom of God. Acts 14:22 1 Peter 1:6-7
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: [7] That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 1 Peter 4:12
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

1 Peter 4:17-18
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? [18] And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

The hour of judgment is at hand, and is at the door. Abide in Me and My word, for there is little time for preparation, you must obey quickly!
