Getting Ready

In your commentaries, you have been warning us to get ready, especially those of us who have been pre-trib.

Other than being soundly saved, witnessing to whomever will listen, and being in His Word, what can we do to get ready? Do you think there are physical things we need to do?

I don't have any advise for being physically ready -- sorry. As far as being spiritually ready, my advise is always the same -- build a close relationship with Jesus. The passage that I think about in this regard is Rev. 3:4. Here Jesus says, "But you have a few people in Sardis who have not soild their garments; and they will walk with Me in white; for they are worthy." My desire above all things is to be worthy to walk with Jesus. Perhaps that's because so many times in my life I have not been worthy. Yet, I've also had times when Jesus has revealed Himself to be with me. Those are times I value and desire again to be able to go through what may be coming -- for Jesus to be with me. Hope this helps.
