'Spiritual treason' seen as 'something hostile to Jesus Christ himself'

Dozens of Christian churches, from Park Hill Congregational in Denver to Hillview United Methodist in Boise, Idaho, and First United Lutheran in San Francisco to St. Elizabeth's Episcopal Church in Honolulu, are planning to send "a message both here at home and to the Arab and Muslim world about our respect for Islam" with a time to read the Quran during worship this Sunday.

There is only One Way and His Name is Jesus....

I'll never forget how a middle-aged social services worker visited a potluck Sunday dinner at my church, talking constantly of how she learned at her Unitarian church of the lovely religion of Mohammad that morning! Peace and grace she did NOT spread as she went from person to person talking about how Mohammad was so misunderstood in our country. No one could get through to her with the truth. It was as if she had become willingly blinded to truth. She used to to know truth, as she grew up in a conservative Baptist home, and learned the Bible thoroughly. But she told me she became an agnostic in the 60's and completely rejected her upbringing.

I fear that is the position most modern churches are in. A choice of deception.

...then they must be prepared to lie in the bed they have made for themselves.

Basically this woman has willfully and knowingly rejected Jesus Christ...and now uses her Christian knowledge to turn others away from Him.

May God have mercy on her soul.

I pray that whomever goes to these churches has the courage to stand up and leave at the pinnacle point of the Koran being opened and read and taught in their church.
