animals attacking?

i've noticed these stories more and more, this one just amazed me, is this normal? isn't there something to the animals attacking humans?

I have been noticing these animal attacks too. Yesterday I read a paraglider in Australia was attacked by two large eagles, almost causing the glider to crash. We're even hearing about hikers being attacked by mountain lions in populated areas of Southern California. If in our Lord's kingdom the lion will lie beside the lamb, and if God shut the mouth of lions for Daniel, it may be that the further we humans go from God the more these type of events could happen.

a year ago or so i was in Canada, and met up with a black bear, luckily i believe i was saved by God's grace, i'm sure i have a purpose, but also because black bears are not teritorial like brown are.... but some of these stories about animals attacking just don't seem right
