Are we on the verge of World War 3?
...
Who is the message of the tribulation for...?
(the Great Tribulation)

What did Jesus say?

Yeshua said...
in response to His disciples asking Him
what would be the sign of Your coming
and of the end of the age?
Yeshua's response was for His disciples who follow Him
rather than the people and (the non-messianic Jews)
who do not believe in or follow Him. Disciples who
would pass this message on to believers in Jesus
who are here in the future generations.

He said:

And Jesus answered and said to them,

See to it that no one misleads you.

"For many will come in My name, saying,
‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many."

Yeshua was saying that there will be many in the church
who would claim that Jesus is the Christ, (that Jesus is Lord)
many who will mislead others into believing that their answer
to the question the disciples had asked Jesus
is what He was saying. (When will that day be?)
(If You are going to leave us, then...
When will You be back for us?) (but they will be wrong)
They will be the ones who are decieving to the church.

It is possible that the very ones who are being deceptive in the church
will be the people who will lead others right into the tribulation persecution.
(as the love of most will grow cold) (a tool in the hand of the enemy)
People who will believe that the mark of the beast as it will be
would be a good idea for peace and security...

“Then they will deliver you to tribulation...”
and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.
Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased,
most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony
to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

According to Yeshua, the church will be here inside the time of tribulation...
the day of the Lord and His wrath will follow those days of severe trials and tribulation.
I propose, and how according to the Lord that those days of tribulation will be shortened
that the tribulation will be about 16ish percent of the last half of the 70th week of Daniel.
(because no one knows ...the day of the hour of His return)
Yet, we can speculate that if the seven trumpet judgements finialize
the 70th week of Daniel, with the bowl judgements following that 70th week (the full 7 years)
if the other trumpet judgements are a similar length to the fifth trumpet, five months
and if the Great Tribulation begins at the middle of the 70th week then it is possible
that the 'tribulation' would only be about 7 months long.
The Great Tribulation begining during a Spring Jewish feast
and ending with a fall feast, at the last trumpet. (Shofar)

...listen to "Before Jesus returns pt 1" and
"Before Jesus returns pt 2" with Jon Beckett.

I like how assertive his message is..."but before all of this"...
(be patient, the downloads take a minute, yet are worth the time...)

WWIII could precipitate the begining of the 2nd half of Daniel's 70th week. (7 years)
Precipitate
verb (used with object)
1. to hasten the occurrence of; bring about prematurely, hastily, or suddenly:
to precipitate an international crisis.
It will come upon them suddenly as a woman in childbirth.

"Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you.
For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.
While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly
like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren,
are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief;
for you are all sons of light and sons of day."

"Peace and Security" - (((videolink)))

The Apostle Paul believed that we would be here during the time
that would predeed the Day of the Lord and that it would come suddenly
right when people are crying out for peace and security (safety).
Most likely during a time of severe trials and tribulation or a great world war.
Paul indicated that we (the church) would be here in that time
as he said that that day would not surprise us like a thief who came in the night.
He knew that we would be here in the time that would preceed the day of the Lord
as he indicated it to the church of the Thessalonians in his second letter to them.

"Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed..."

Paul was indicating that the day of the Lord would not come until an event would preceed it.
The revealing of the lawless one. (who appears or is revealed at the middle of the 70th week)
With all this information we can come to the conclusion that the 'triblulation' or great tribulation
begins with the revealing of antichrist (at the middle of the 70th week) and ends about 7 months later
with the beginging of the day of the Lord, when the Lord appears and gathers us up to be with Him.
(that is if the trumpet judgements, that will follow the tribulation, are all about five months in length)

Are we on the verge of World War 3?
It is entirely possible that we are heading towards a great war
that would lead to the world crying out for a leader who
would answer their call for peace and security.
Yet, they will not realize that the answer to their call
will be followed by destruction as he will be a man of war.
A man who will honor a god of fortresses.

At the appointed time he will invade the South again, but this time the outcome will be different from what it was before. Ships of the western coastlands will oppose him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant.

“His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

(and so begins the time of 'tribulation' at the appointed time, as seen below)

“Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. When they fall, they will receive a little help, and many who are not sincere will join them. Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.

...and this 'man" who as in verse 21 is
"a contemptible person who has not been given the honor of royalty."
(who was not a king) will become 'a king' (as seen further down in the chapter)

“The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place. He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses;
a god unknown to his fathers...

It is entirely possible that WWIII will lead to this man becoming the king over the the final beast coalition.
(leading to the begining of the tribulation against the elect, against Jews and Christians as seen here...)

"When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring
those who obey God’s commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus."

The dragon is cast down to the Earth, gives antichrist his authority over the world
becomes angered that he can not eliminate the Jewish element from the earth
and so pursues (severely persecutes) those who helped the woman (Israel)
escape to the place prepared for them in the wilderness.

After that time of persecution and tribulation we see in Revelation chapter 7...

"After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count,
from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front
of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
And they cried out in a loud voice:

“Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

All glory to - "Our Great God" - (((videolink)))

Bless the Lord Yeshua!!!

...listen... "Beyond the Sky" - ((((videolink))))

When will the Lord appear in glory?

"...immediately after the tribulation of those days..."
- Matthew chapter 24
(as also seen in Revealtion chapter 6)

When the sun goes dark, the moon turns red, and the stars fall from the sky.

(for when the day of tribulation does come, write this upon your heart, to remember...)
I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth
made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop
from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain
and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty,
and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains
and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”
Revelation chapter 6

The scripture you posted is very clear... and there is so much more, which is very clear... I just love how those who cling to falsehoods that are not nor have ever been biblical, tend to also claim victim status when they are called out on it.

It is a slippery slope.. Jesus Himself was crucified by Romans, but on account of religious fanatics among His own people, why? because Jesus spoke the truth and the truth was painful to those who would rather cling to tradition.

The Disciples of Jesus, likewise, were persecuted by the religious "authority" of their day, more so then any pagans.

It is no wonder then that speaking the truth today on these matters will win you no friends, as the good book says, in the end times men will look to have their ears tickled, rather then seek the truth.

The idea that we will be whisked up to heaven before the Great Tribulation is a great thought, unfortunately it conflicts with so much of what the Bible says... SO a decision needs to be made - either we must ignore a substantial amount of Gods Word, or, come to grips with the fact even the Protestant movement from which we draw our Christian traditions was not invincible to the devils agents creeping in.

Those who die in the Tribulation will be part of the first resurrection.... and they will reign with Christ 1000 years before the rest of the dead are awoken to judgement. Who are these people in the Tribulation, who should be so honored to rule with Christ before any of the others who died throughout the ages are even resurrected to judgement?? They are those who died for the Gospel, and those who refused the Mark of the Beast.

Who would refuse the Mark of the beast, and accept a death sentence, for any other reason, apart from knowing Biblical prophecy predicted this situation, and warned them not to take it?? WHO would be so foolish, outside of the Body of Christ??

No one would.... Accepting the Pre Trib rapture view puts so much of the Bible in question, and in fact, if it were possible there was a Pre Trib rapture, the Bible would be a giant contradiction... Which it is not... If we rightly divide the word....

I suggest reading, Clarence Larking, Rightly dividing the Word.

Sorry to beat a dead horse.... Like I said in the last thread, this is not even worth debating anymore, since anyone who holds this belief has obviously either missed, or ignored so much of what the Bible has to say.

"About the time of the end, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies, and insist upon their literal interpretation, in the midst of much clamour and opposition." Sir Isaac Newton, 1642-1727

Remember me affectionately to good Dr. Price and to the honest heretic Dr. Priestly. I do not call him honest by way of distinction; for I think all the heretics I have known have been virtuous men. They have the virtue of fortitude or they would not venture to own their heresy; and they cannot afford to be deficient in any of the other virtues, as that would give advantage to their many enemies; and they have not like orthodox sinners, such a number of friends to excuse or justify them. Do not, however mistake me. It is not to my good friend's heresy that I impute his honesty. On the contrary, 'tis his honesty that has brought upon him the character of heretic.
