There is much in the news worthy of comment. But before I start, let me say a few things about our discussion board.

You may have noticed some changes on our board. Some you may not have liked. If so, I'm sorry. You see, I'm the one who did it.

What happened is the management of our board suddenly fell to me. Having run my own business for the past 30 years, I responded the only way I know. I began to learn and take charge.

Fortunately, the board was left to me in very good shape. However, I soon began noticing something that concerned me. I began to realize that the original clarity of purpose we once had was missing. And, it was no one's fault but mine. I hadn't been giving our board enough of my time.

The Apostle Paul said something interesting about this type of situation. He said:

For if the bugle produces an indistinct sound, who will prepare himself for battle? (1 Corinthians 14: 8 New American Standard Bible).

So, I set out to recapture what we had at the beginning -- that clear focus on Bible prophecy and world events. The first thing I did was start removing forums that weren't used much and deleting things I didn't think relevant to our primary mission. In so doing, I may have unintentionally stepped on a few member's toes. If so, once again, I'm sorry. But, I'm only doing what I think right. And, this brings us to today's news.

United States President George Bush has just finished a high level meeting with the heads of the European Union Read about it here  I  And here. If you recall, it was with a meeting similar to this where I ended my book. You see, what's made this growing partnership between the US and the EU possible was Javier Solana's new security doctrine, A Secure Europe In A Better World. Before Solana's new doctrine came along, the US and the EU were in different worlds. It was being said the Americans were on Mars, and the Europeans on Venus. Thanks to a man named Javier Solana, that description began to change.

Today we're seeing more and more of Solana. We find him in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, in the Fata/Hamas dispute, in the Iranian nuclear crisis, and even in the North Korean missile problem.

As if that wasn't enough Solana, he's reported to be hand in hand with Pope Benedict XVI opening an interfaith dialogue between the Catholic Church and influential Islamic scholars.

And, now there he is: Today we see a picture of President Bush sitting beside the EU heads as if everything were OK. But, we students of Bible prophecy know better, don't we? And, this knowledge we have naturally brings up a serious question. What should we be doing about it? 

Friends, one thing I know for sure, we should be making a clear sound.
