I don't think there's ever been a time when so many different gospels were being preached. There's nothing wrong with having a special message or teaching. However, if our special message or teaching ever becomes more important to us than delivering the message of God's Only Son, then we're preaching a different gospel. As to be expected, readers sometimes scratch their heads over a particular commentary. Perhaps I didn't express myself clearly. Or, maybe I just said something stupid again. But often it's because I was speaking to a different audience. And sometimes my target audience is unbelievers. So when you don't understand something, always consider these possibilities. For example, some wondered about yesterday's commentary -- what I meant by saying we're at the end of the road What Herb thinks 02-20-07. I wrote the commentary with two audiences in mind. The first was those unwilling to acknowledge that we might already have all the necessary facts on the ground for the fulfillment of the end-time prophecies. The second was those uncommitted readers who have yet to understand just how short their time may be. You see, it's not really about which of us prophecy teachers has it all down right. It's all about Jesus. 02-21-07
