We may be in for another horse race. And, it's between the same two horses -- the EU's High Representative Javier Solana and Germany's Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer. The last time it was a race to see who would become the EU's new, super Foreign Minister. As you know, Solana won that race. This time it's to see who will get a seat on the UN Security Council, the EU or Germany  Read about it here  I  And here  I  And here. 

France and Britain have both come out in favor of Germany having a seat. But, according to this report, Italy has come out in support of the EU and Solana getting a seat instead  Read about it here.

The bottom line is, the UN Security Council is long over due for an upgrade. Its current structure was created by the the winning powers at the end of the second World War. These powers were the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China.

Today, the world has changed drastically. Besides Germany, there are other nations who feel they deserve a seat at Security Council now also -- such as Japan.

Like I've been reporting, this restructuring of the UN Security Council has been expected by us students of Bible prophecy. And, the fact that it appears to be happening now, in concert with all the other prophetic events we've been witnessing, tells us the final events of prophecy many not be far away.

The most interesting part of all this for me is, for the EU's Solana to win this race and take his rightful position, there may have to be some horn pulling (Daniel 7:8).

Yes indeed, we may be in for another good race.
