By now you've probably read John Fonte's, The Ideological War Within the West, commentary. If not, I recommend that you do Read it here. Here we find strong support for what I have reported in Recommendation 666 from a secular source.

Fonte warns liberal democracy may not prevail in the new world order after all. Fonte says: 

It is entirely possible that modernity -- thirty or forty years hence -- will witness not the final triumph of liberal democracy, but the emergence of a new transnational hybrid regime that is post-liberal democratic, and in the American context, post-Constitutional and post-American. 

I think Fonte may be a little off in his timing. I fear the sober reality before us Americans is, we got another war on our hands. And, it's not thirty or forty years away -- it's already started. Now not only do we have to fight our global war against terror, we also have to fight off a new form of tyranny Fonte calls, "transnational progressivism." And, Fonte says the stronghold for this dangerous new tyranny is -- surprise, surprise -- the European Union. Fonte states:

THE EU AS A STRONGHOLD OF TRANSNATIONAL PROGRESSIVISM
The EU is a large supranational macro-organization that embodies transnational progressivism. Its governmental structure is post-democratic. Power in the EU principally resides in the European Commission (EC) and to a lesser extent the European Court of Justice (ECJ). The EC, the EU's executive body, initiates legislative action, implements common policy, and controls a large bureaucracy. It is composed of a rotating presidency and nineteen commissioners chosen by the member-states and approved by the European Parliament. It is unelected and, for the most part, unaccountable.

Although I agree with Fonte on most points, I disagree with him on where in the EU the real power resides -- it's not in the European Commission. The real power is in the hand's of the 25 EU heads in the European Council. And, as I've been reporting, since May the so-called EU "big three" -- France, Germany and Britain -- have formed a kind of directorate and are pretty much in control.

In other words, these three kings could actually be the ones the Antichrist will subdude on his rise to power.

For us students of prophecy, the implications of all this recent news is profound. Before us we have what may be the fullfillments of Bible prophecy about the rise of 10-horned beast of Daniel and Revelation. And now, according to a secular researcher, at the same time we have the sudden appearance of a dangerous new form of European tyranny, centered around the same time and place as the events recorded in my book.
