This is good: It's being reported the international gang met in Madrid in search of a definition for terrorism. I suspect they may be looking for a definition that makes it legal when used against Israel, but not against any of them. The UN's Kofi Annan was there. So was American billionaire George Soros. And, of course, the EU's Javier Solana was also attending Read about it here.

The meeting didn't really stir my interest. After all, we Bible believers know where the international gang's war against terror is going. The Bible tells us it's headed in the direction of Israel and, ultimately, it's headed in our direction as Christians. What did interest me was the new political reality on the ground in Europe. It's exactly what the Bible predicted.

You see, although Javier Solana is on the scene and is supposed to be leading the EU in a common foreign and security policy, the power still resides with the national governments Read about it here. And, to be more specific, the real power now rests with the so-called EU "big three," France, Germany and the UK Read about it here.

If you recall, on his recent "fence mending" trip to Europe, U.S. President George Bush made four primary visits. He visited with the UK's Tony Blair, Germany's Gerhard Schroeder, France's Jacques Chirac and the EU's Javier Solana.

So, here we have the situation in Europe that is described by the prophet Daniel. We have a 10-nation alliance appearing, a new Office of High Representative popping up among them, and a battle for control between the person who holds this Office and three of the leaders from the 10-nation alliance. In the book of Daniel we read:

After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. While I was contemplating the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts (Daniel 7: 7-8 New American Standard Bible).
