Keeping up with what's going on in Europe right now is like watching that old shell game. It's getting harder to know where the pea is all the time -- or in this case bogey man. The following three reports are our shells: The first report tells us the Italian EU presidency is trying to push a new paper through the EU's constitution process few think will come out the other side completely intacted. However, what I think might survive is a re-worded defense clause allowing member states to continue existing security arrangements (Read about it here). In other words, the 10 WEU nations could keep their modified Brussels Treaty. The second report tells us Tony Blair is facing at this EU summit the same bogey man, Italian EU ambassador Umberto Vattani, that caused the downfall of a prior PM of Britain Margart Thatcher (Read about it here). Perhaps here we have a horn waiting to be pulled. And the third report tells us the Polish president, Aleksander Kwasniewski,
is planning on vetoing the whole thing if he doesn't get his way over the
voting issue
(Read about it here).
Now, which of these three shells (reports) is our bogey man under? To answer this question we must look first at what we know. We know the old Roman Empire is reviving at this historic EU summit. And, we know the Bible predicted this event thousands of years ago. So, what else does the Bible say about this revival? It says it will fall under the control of 10 kings and the Antichrist will rise among them. Now, under which three of these shells (reports) do we find 10 nations and one man? Answer: Under all three. Stay tuned! 12-11-03
