I've been saying, if the first beast of Revelation chapter 13 is rising, then the second beast isn't far behind. We'll, it looks like I may be right (Read commentary here). 

According to a report posted on NewsMax.com, president George W. Bush is thinking about co-sponsoring a resolution that would establish an Inter-religious Council within the United Nations (Read about it here). 

This is especially scary for me. You see, I've come to believe the organization the coming false prophet will use to enforce his global economic and religious control will be the UN.  

If you recall, the Apostle John saw two beasts rising in the end-times. According to the Old Testament book of Daniel, a beast in Bible prophecy is both a king and his kingdom that rises over Israel.

The first beast John saw had 10 horns and rose out of the sea. It is commonly believed this beast is the coming Antichrist who will rise out of a revived Roman Empire and 10-nation alliance. And, that appears to be what is happening in the new, super EU.

The second beast had two horns and rose from the earth. This second beast is referred to as the false prophet. He will be a powerful religious figure who will direct worship toward the first beast, and cause people to take a mark on their right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell. And, like I said, the only global organization he could use in such a way is the UN.

So, will Bush actually co-sponsor the rise of this 2nd beast?
