Euro-speak is the ability to say one thing, and mean just the opposite. French President Jacques Chirac is good at Euro-speak. As you may recall, the big three -- France, Germany and Britain -- recently frightened the smaller EU states by holding a private summit. The official purpose of this summit was about creating a super Commissioner to oversee the EU's economy. But according to knowledgeable observers, the real purpose was defense. Now according to this report, wishing to reassure the 10 new EU member states the big three weren't really up to anything, Chirac reverted to Euro-speak. Chirac said: I have only this to say: It's a Europe of 25 that France wants to build Read about it here . Then after these reassuring words Chirac went on to say: Some countries will have the will and capacity to go faster: let's open up the road to them. The interesting part to what Chirac said was countries having "the will and capacity" to go faster. Here it is evident Chirac was referring to the big three's recent decision to create joint military units. And, Chirac's choice of words also show not everyone is invited. But even Commission President Roman Prodi can see what's coming. According to the EUobserver, Prodi recently said: It (a two-speed Europe) may become necessary because the institution cannot remain frozen Read about it here. Why is this interesting to us at FulfilledProphecy? Because the Bible tells us the Roman Empire will return. But, it will be a divided kingdom. Some of it will be weak, some of it will be strong. But in it, it will have the strength of iron (Daniel 2: 40-43). And one more thing. It will fall under the control of 10 kings. That's why this two-speed Europe thing is worth watching. As I've been reporting, there is sound reason to suspect what we're now seeing by these big three coming together are elements within the 10-nation Western European Union taking control of the EU while they still can. In other words: Don't let Chirac's Euro-speak fool you. Stay tuned! 02-24-04
