If we read these four articles together, an interesting picture emerges. One reason British PM Tony Blair may want to settle some issues before approving the EU's next budget may have to do with fulfilling Bible prophecy Read about it here I And here. Blair is hosting an informal EU summit this Thursday. Evidently, Blair thinks the EU beast is confused. This seems to be Blair's question. How can the EU beast agree to its new budget without even knowing where it's going? But, I think Blair is being diplomatic. The truth is, not all the EU beast's little heads want to go in the same direction. And, according to a speech posted on the Website of a British Embassy, and an article that appeared the next day in the London's Financial Times, it seems Blair wants more money for Javier Solana's foreign and security policy Read about it here I And here, This is where things turn biblical. As you know, I suspect the Euro-Med Partnership that Solana negotiated back in 1995 could end up becoming the foretold covenant with the many (Daniel 9:27). Here's why. The EU's next budget period is seven years. In other words, taking these articles together, it appears that Blair wants the EU to spend more money on confirming -- or make work -- Solana's existing Euro-Med Partnership. And, this confirming action will be for a seven-year period. Friend's, this is interesting! Here's another interesting twist. It turns out that the biggest fly in Blair's soup may be Germany's, out-going chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder. Schroeder is still hurting from loosing his election to Angela Merkel. Nevertheless, Schroeder is refusing to let Merkel attend Blair's informal summit. The problem for Blair is, Schroeder and Blair arn't getting along and Schroeder's Germany has the biggest pocketbook. Yes, indeed. The EU beast is confused. The fur could fly at Thursday's summit. Stay tuned! 10-26-05
