Here's an interesting analysis about what's going on in the EU (Read it here). Written by Karel Bartak, it pretty much supports my view. Although the European Convention is over, the battle for control of the new, super EU isn't over. It's just moving to another battle field -- the next Intergovernmental Conference to begin later this year. But I didn't like this analysis simply because it supported my view. I liked Bartak's choice of a title -- Devilish Details. As a student of end-times prophecy, I thought it was very appropriate. And, after the author listed many things the EU heads were able to come together over, the writer even ended the analysis by saying, "but the devil is in the detail. The coming months will show to what extent the facade of unity will be able to withstand the political reality." This is what I think: Here's someone who thinks the way I think. I agree: The devil is in the details. And, it won't be long and the world will know it. Stay tuned! 07-20-2003
