When the EU beast was asked if God could be mentioned in its new Constitution, the creature responded, "God who?" And, it wasn't even kidding. The New York times is reporting seven EU member states have delivered a letter to the EU presidency requesting that a reference to Europe's Christian heritage be included in the new EU Constitution Read about it here. And for the most part, Christianity to these member states means Catholicism. But like I said, God confuses the poor EU beast. You see, unlike humans created in God's image, beasts have no concept of God. Beasts live only for themselves and survive by their natural senses and instinct. However, to make these seven little heads happy, the EU beast may have to mention ... what do they call Him? I've often wondered what the EU beast thinks of us here at FulfilledProphecy.Com. I'm sure the same confusion reigns. After all, it has places to go and things to do and here we are -- claiming the EU beast is fulfilling Bible prophecy. How strange it must think us. But lately I've been noticing something. There have been indications the EU beast may be noticing us. If you recall, after the news about Recommendation 666 went public for the first time in a radio interview and front page story, the WEU Website where the document could be seen suddenly went down. And yesterday the EUobserver did something unusual. They changed the picture to a story after I wrote a commentary based on the first picture they had posted. Are we seeing a reaction to FulfilledProphecy.Com? Why would the EU beast even care about what people think at a wacky religious Website? And why should it care about what seven religious little heads want included in its new Constitution? God who? 05-26-04
