What Herb thinks
Goodbye America

To the Christians in Rome the Apostle Paul wrote:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:18 New American Standard Bible.)

I fear these words may apply to America today. It's not that I think America is more evil than other nations -- she isn't. It's because America has fallen away from where she once was.

For a long time now America's universities and colleges have been religiously suppressing the truth in unrighteouness. The result has been a society groping in spiritual darkness.

Now the world is turning on America  -- the same America that God used to bring the world freedom and hold back evil Read about it here. Why? Because the unbelieving world doesn't understand. Because the world is groping in the same darkness.

Yes, the Bible tells us there is a day of wrath coming for the world. And the way things look, I don't believe that day is far away. However, the Apostle Peter also had something to say about God's wrath  -- something we believers would like to forget. Peter said God's judgment will begin with us first. Peter said:

For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17).

Fellow Christian, I fear this is our situation: Our world is saying goodbye America.

And hello Antichrist.
