Let's be honest. We all have opinions. And when we have opinions, they tend to influence our way of seeing things. And to suggest otherwise, in my opinion, may be a bit dishonest. So, FulfilledProphecy isn't the No Spin Zone. This is Herb's spin zone. I report the news the way I see it. In other words, I put my spin on it. That's why it's important for my readers to know what I believe. I believe in the Jesus of Scripture -- that He died, was buried and rose again on the third day. I believe the Bible is the literal Word of God and foundation of our common faith. And, as you must know by now, I still believe in the importance of Bible prophecy. This brings us to the reason for my book and Website. We live at a time in Christian history when the subject of Bible prophecy is either avoided, or tightly controlled. Our scholarly evangelical leaders today, for the most part, avoid the subject. And, the few who don't avoid the subject suggest it's either their way, or the road. You know what? There's something wrong here. Until the prophecies are fulfilled, they are subject to honest debate. In the mean time, events have occurred in Europe that could actually be the fulfillments of Bible prophecy. And, they have gone unreported by most of our evangelical leaders. Why? This is what I think. It's because of the intimidation of those scholars who insist it's either their way, or the road. You see, if these events are the fulfillments of prophecy, it's not happening the way today's leading prophecy scholars teach. Now here's the rub. Some of the events I've been reporting that may be fulfillements of prophecy have happened exactly as the old prophecy scholars taught. I document this in my book. Like I said, there's something wrong here. 04-09-04
