I'm tired of America always being portrayed as the bad guy. That's why I'm posting this commentary from an outside observer. Here we see America the way some others see America. And, it's the way I prefer to see America Read about it here. You see, I have been watching with interest what's going on in the British elections. It seems that Prime Minister Tony Blair has been busy dodging political bullets from Iraq. Evidently, if this report is accurate, Blair wasn't President George Bush's pet poodle on the Iraqi war after all. In fact, it may have been the other way around -- Bush may have actually been Blair's poodle. This report says: This was the first trap Blair had set for himself. He had been ahead of Bush in the doctrine of regime change, but he could not admit it, as it would spoil the argument he was putting together to win round the UN Read about it here. The words that stood out for me were "regime change." You see, I've heard those words somewhere before. So, I did a google search on a hunch. I inserted "Blair, Solana and Cooper." Bingo! It was as I thought. There may have been a direct connection to the EU's Javier Solana and Blair's secret involvement in the Iraqi war. The Socialist Worker reports: But this doesn't quite explain the self righteous zeal with which Blair has helped to prosecute the conquest and occupation of Iraq. The Breaking of Nations (Atlantic Books, £14.99), a new book by the diplomat Robert Cooper, gives an insight into the ideological vision that drives Blair on. Cooper now works for Javier Solana, the European Union's foreign policy chief, but he used to be a special adviser to Blair Read about it here. OK. Let's put this all together. It turns out Tony Blair wasn't just a tag-along in the Iraqi war, Blair was more likely in on it from the very beginning. Why? Probably because of a man named Robert Cooper, who once worked for Blair, and now works for the EU's Javier Solana. In other words, although publicly against the Iraqi war, Solana was more likely in favor of the war from the start -- as was Blair. Friends, there appears to be more going on here than what's being reported. And, once again, it's up to us to figure it out. It seems that America is playing the role of the bad global cop, while the EU is playing the good global cop. But, behind it all, the US and the EU are working closely together to change the world order. And, sure enough, Solana is in the middle of it. Hummm ... 05-01-2005
