Have you seen the Academy Award winning movie, A Beautiful Mind? In this film Russell Crowe plays the part of a brilliant mathematician who sees people nobody else sees. Sometimes that's how I feel. I'm not a brilliant mathematician, but I do see someone others don't. Here's the question: How can the first Mr. Europe appear on the scene in Western Europe, rise to a position of incredible power in just a few short years, and remain virtually invisible? I'm talking, of course, about the EU's first High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy, Javier Solana. Javier who? Go ahead and ask an American on the street. That's what they will say. It's amazing. In fact, I'm beginning to think it's flat out supernatural. If you recall, recently I posted a report that the Bush administration was planning on supporting Italy's call for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the EU. Before that news, I thought Senator Kerry might win the election. However, that report changed my mind. From that point on, I felt fairly certain Bush would be re-elected. You see, a seat for the EU would mean a seat for Solana. And, a seat for Solana seems more in line with Bible prophecy. I also posted another report about how the EU's big three -- France, Britain and Germany -- are fighting Italy over this issue. It turns out they want a permanent seat for Germany instead of the EU. These three members of Solana's 10-nation alliance have formed an EU directorate and, since France and Britain already have a seat, they naturally want Germany to have one so their little directorate can become even stronger. The election is now over. The American people decided to give Bush another round of four years. Why? Was it to continue his war against terror? Was it to continue his policies on Iraq? No. We're being told it was over moral issues like abortion and stem cell research Read about it here. You know what this means don't you? The Democratic leadership is going to suddenly get religion. Anyway, you all know how I feel about the election -- I'm glad! On the down side, since Bush is in, so too may be Solana. If America supports Italy against the EU's big three, we'll probably soon see my Mr. Europe in his seat at the UN. Oh yea ... I forgot. Only I will see him. He's invisible. 11-04-04
