Are you ready for the announcement that life has been discovered on Mars? I think we had better be ready. You see, I suspect that announcement may be coming. And, according to this report, it could happen sometime in the last half of the EU's next seven-year budget period Read about it here. One reason I think this type of announcement could happen is because, in the book of Revelation, we read:

And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people; and he said with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters." And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality" (Revelation 14:6-8 New American Standard Bible).

The events of these two angels flying around mid-heaven happen after we read about the Antichrist and the False prophet forcing everyone to worship the image of the beast or be killed. The issue of the first angel appears to be the defense of creationism. The issue of the second angel appears to be the judgment of the bloodthirsty religion of the false prophet.

While keeping this in mind, consider what the Apostle Paul had to say about the rise of the Antichrist and False Prophet. Paul wrote:

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved (2 Thessalonians 2:7-10). 

Here's my point: I've always suspected that the theory of evolution would play a major role in this great, end-times deception of Satan. This, along with the passage about the two angels in mid-heaven, has led me to believe that, in the end-times, there could be some supposed scientific discovery (deceiving wonder) that finally establishes the theory of evolution as a fact. Friends, that's exactly what the amazing announcement of finding life on Mars could do. After all, if life evolved on Mars as it did here on Earth, then the God of the Bible had nothing to do with it.

So, are you ready for that announcement?
