I've never even heard a president of the United States talk to Israel as has the EU's Javier Solana. According to this report, Solana told Israel the EU would be involved in the peace process, whether Israel liked it or not Read about it here. What we're seeing is Solana calling Israel's bluff. In a big public show of force, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told Solana that, unless the EU support Israel on its right to build the security wall, the EU would be pushed out of the Middle East peace process. But, instead of backing down as has been the case so many times before, Solana stood his ground. Friends, times they are a-changing. Once again there will be debate as to what this means. The Bible prophecy discussion boards will be abuzz with all kinds of theories. Some will say this proves Solana is the man to watch. Others will argue he's too old and --- well, let's just say not handsome enough. Yet, once again few will look where we students of prophecy are supposed to look. You see, the Bible tells us the things to watch for. We are to watch for a revival of the Roman Empire and the appearance of one man among a 10-nation alliance. Have we seen that? Like I've been reporting, the answer is yes. That man is Javier Solana. What is this man to do next? He is to lead this revived Roman Empire into making a seven-year treaty with Israel. And, he is to break that agreement 3 1/2 years later. Is this man, Solana, leading a revived Roman Empire and Israel into some kind of treaty? Yes, he is. That's what appears to be going on now, right before our eyes. So, does this mean Javier Solana is the man we've all been looking for? It's still too early to know for certain. But, if prophecy means anything, he's certainly the one to be watching. Whether we like it or not. 07-23-04
