I've never hidden my love for America. But, it's not a blind love.

If things go as expected, next month the Sharon administration will be implementing its Gaza withdrawal plan. Word is, American troops are already on the ground in Israel preparing for the worst. On top of that, Israeli journalist Barry Chamish is reporting an American flag waving over a new military base under construction near the strategic Ben Gurion Airport. Chamish is claiming America is building a huge concentration camp intended to hold protesting Israeli settlers.

It's because I love America, I fear for America. Even if what Chamish is reporting isn't true, I fear the current polices of this administration toward Israel could cause America to be numbered among the nations who oppose God in the end-times. Through the prophet Jeremiah, God says:

The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, "Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, write all the words which I have spoken to you in a book. For behold, days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel and Judah." The Lord says, "I will also bring them back to the land that I gave to their forefathers and they shall possess it" (Jeremiah 30:1-4).

Some see the return of the Jewish people after the Babylonian captivity as the fulfillment of this passage. But, since their Babylonian captivity, the Jewish people have never really possessed their land. They were always under foreign rule. The Jewish people didn't actually possess their land again until they became a sovereign state in 1948. Friends, according to Scripture, the rebirth of Israel was the work of God. Now, if America and the international community have their way, Jewish people will once again be driven from their land.

Listen America! God speaks about the day in which He restores His nation. God says: 

'Therefore all who devour you will be devoured; And all your adversaries, every one of them, will go into captivity; And those who plunder you will be for plunder, and all who prey upon you I will give for prey. For I will restore you to health. And I will heal you of your wounds." declares the Lord, "Because they have called you an outcast, saying:" 'It is Zion; no one cares for her"' (Jeremiah 30:16-17).

Friends, I still love America. Even as America may be preparing to lift her hand against God and plunder His land, I still love her. And, I can still shout with all my heart, "God bless America!"

But, it won't help.
