Former United States Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was said to have asked who he should call when he calls Europe. That's why the EU heads created the Office of High Representative. The holder of this Office was to become the answer to Kissinger's question. He was to become that Mr. Europe Read about it here.

EU leaders believe their new constitution is important. Once in place, it would lift their High Representative to the level of a true Mr. Europe. Now, thanks to the French and Dutch voters, their dream of having a Mr. Europe is threatened.

It's not like they have time. Next week the EU's June summit will begin and they already have big problems to face. The EU heads must find a way to agree on the amount each nation will contribute to the EU's next seven-year budget. Needless to say, this won't be easy. Now, with the French and Dutch voters rejecting the new constitution, they have another problem on their agenda -- an even bigger one. What are they going to do about their dream to have a Mr. Europe?

Friends, that's why I'm really looking forward to this week's summit. I suspect, as far as Bible prophecy is concerned, something big may come down. I don't believe certain EU leaders will allow the voters to deprive them of their Mr. Europe.
