What Herb thinks
Pastor Bill

I thought he would be much older. That's because I had read his book, Beware The New Prophets, and listened to his great CDs on the book of Revelation. In both cases, I was very impressed by his insights. So, when I first saw him standing at the terminal in Cedar Rapids, I thought he had been sent by Believers in Grace Fellowship to pick us up. Then he identified himself. He was Pastor Bill Randles himself.

Later we met Pastor Bill's wife Chris and their kids. We also got acquainted with Ray and Deena Vasser. Ray played a big role in making our speaking event in Marion Iowa happen. This brings us to what I don't like about these engagements -- they take Linda and I to places where we make new friends, and then they take us away again.

Except for a couple of wrong dates, having too much information and having problems with the projector's remote control, the PowerPoint presentations went pretty well. I suspect two primary reasons for why they went so well -- both reasons being equally necessary. The first was the information we had to deliver. The second was the people there to received it. As Jesus would have expressed it, they had ears to hear. For this, Pastor Bill should be given much credit.

Where things will go from here only God knows. Many copies of my book, Recommendation 666, were purchased and an equal number of DVDs handed out. That makes me believe, for some reason, it was in God's plan to have us speak at Pastor Bill's church. What I didn't know was Pastor Bill is an international speaker -- having published books in other countries. Perhaps this explains God's choice of his church. Like I said, I think the event was in God's plan.

In the meantime, there is much news to report. As I've been catching up on my email -- much of which is news links related to prophecy -- I'm almost overwhelmed with feelings of inadequacy. I realize that FulfilledProphecy is not the only place where God's people can go for end-time news analysis. But, I also know from past experience, without FulfilledProphecy's angle on things, there could be something missing. There could be news left unreported.

Again, I ask you to continue supporting our ministry. Unfortunately, we do have to ask. I don't like it either. But, it's your support that's keeping us going. If your church or Christian organization is interested in our presentations, contact information is provided below. Keep in mind, not everybody is on the Internet, and not everybody follows FulfilledProphecy. There are many people hungry for this information, but not many providing it.

This brings us to another of my concerns. The problem with information only in cyberspace, all it takes is a click of a switch for it to be gone. That's why I wanted my book in paperback form, and that's why we've been sending out so many DVDs. Even should the Internet be closed to God's people, the news we've been reporting would continue circulating.

So, again, a link to support and contact information for engagements is provided below. Perhaps your church or organization can have a part in getting this information into the hand's of God's people. It may end up being very important. And, I don't think there's much time left.

In the meantime, stay tuned!

Herb & Linda
