At FP we have been watching a series of events that appear to match the prophecies. And, if these events are in fact fulfillments of prophecy, then we know what's to come. That's why today's news may be significant. To begin with, the French election is over and the winner is the one I expected -- Nicolas Sarkozy. The reason I suspected Sarkozy would win is because Sarkozy, unlike his opponent, is in favor of a mini EU treaty that doesn't have to be ratified by the French people Read about it here. You see, if we're watching the prophecies being fulfilled about the rise of the 10-horned beast kingdom, I believe this political situation in France was the most likely. The next interesting piece of news is about Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Evidently, to everyone's surprise, Olmert may have dodged a politically fatal bullet and managed, at least for the time being, to stay in power Read about it here. And, if you recall, it wasn't that long ago that the EU's Javier Solana warned, if Olmert stepped down, it could be the death of the peace process. Naturally, if we're seeing the prophecies coming down, an end to the peace process could set things back for a very long time. Well, it doesn't look like that's happening. According to this report Read about it here, the peace process isn't missing a beat. Perhaps now you understand why I have developed an attitude of expectancy regarding the continuation of the prophecies. You see, I've been following this series of events since the early nineties. Many times I have come to where it looked like I was following a dead-end trail, only in the last minute, to discover that I wasn't. One example is back in 2000 when all the news reports were telling us that the 10-nation Western European Union (WEU) was going out of existence. Yet, if the prophecies were being fulfilled, I knew that wouldn't be the case. And, sure enough, it wasn't. Today the WEU is as alive as ever. Of course, the mini EU treaty could still fail, Olmert could still step down, and the peace process could still fall to pieces. Yet, even then, prophecy marches on. That's why I say, stay tuned! 05-07-2007
