What Herb thinks
Real Truth Hurts

The question comes up. Should I tell the truth and hurt someone? Or, should I avoid the truth and make them happy? Most of us would avoid the truth. No, we wouldn't out-right lie. We'd just find a way around saying the truth that would hurt.

Friends, that's where I believe we evangelicals are today. We have arrived at a time when the real truth hurts. For me, it's like I see tidal wave coming and everybody just keeps playing on the beach. When I try to warn them, the lifeguards assure them that everything is OK. When I tell the people on the beach to not listen to their lifeguards, they accuse me of being negative.

In the meantime, the sea begins receding -- the final prophetic signs are appearing. Soon, the EU heads are going to knock out a budget in order to finance the confirming of an existing covenant with many -- the 1995 Euro-Mediterranean Partnership for Peace -- for seven years. When the power vacuum is filled, someone will be in charge. The Bible warns us about this individual.

While this is going on, the old order in Europe is falling. The UK's Tony Blair is attempting to fill the power vacuum by asserting his leadership. Blair, as you know, will be taking over the EU's presidency in July Read about it here And here.

Here's where it gets even more interesting. You see, Blair is a strong supporter of the Atlantic alliance. So is Robert Cooper, Blair's former adviser. This takes us to the EU's Javier Solana. You see, Cooper now works for Solana. If Solana didn't agree with Copper, why would he hire him.

When we consider these details, the coming agenda of the Blair EU presidency isn't hard to guess. You see, Cooper is known as an imperialist. That's because he advocates the EU and the US joining forces and, by whatever means necessary, mold the world into a safer place. In other words, I believe the EU and the US are going to attempt to use the six months of the UK's EU presidency to move the world in the direction of Coopers dream, and Solana's leadership.

I hate to say it. But, from there, it's going to be down hill for the people of God until our Lord returns.

The real truth hurts.
