What Herb thinks
Rejected

The French people have gone and done it. They have rejected the EU beast's new constitution. Now what's the 25-headed creature to do? Without the constitution's new structures in place, the EU beasts won't be able to walk a straight line. Its 25 heads will all want to go in different directions.

Never fear. The EU beast's little horn is here. And, he's got the answer. You see, under the weighted voting system agreed to in the existing Nice Treaty, the EU beast's 10 heads with horns hold the majority vote within the Council where the little horn works. If they would come together around the little horn, they could control the EU beast. In other words, the little horn is the key. If he could be placed in charge until the beast's steering problem is resolved, the little horn could lead the 25-headed beast in a straight line.

What about the three heads with horns who have grouped together and want to lead? What should the EU beast do about them? Don't worry. The little horn has an answer for that too. You see, without the little horn in the lead, no one will be able to lead. It's as simple as that.

So, will the EU beast agree?
