The Europeans sure have a thing for roadmaps. First it was their roadmap to the creation of a Palestinian state in the land of Israel, now it's a roadmap to the revived Roman Empire of end-times Bible prophecy.

The EUobserver is reporting the Italian presidency has come up with another roadmap (Read about it here). But, unlike the European Union's other roadmap that was to lead to a Palestinian state and peace in the Middle East, this roadmap is to lead to their new, super EU and the reunification of Europe. In other words, this second roadmap is to lead divided Europe back to Rome.

Beginning in Rome on October 4, the Italian roadmap will lead the EU heads to eight primary areas for debate in their coming Intergovernmental Conference. These eight areas are:

1. Legislative Council.
2. Rotating Council Presidency.
3. Minister for Foreign Affairs.
4. Defense.
5. Composition of the Commission.
6. Qualified majority.
7. Ratification procedures.
8. Other questions.

The areas we students of prophecy need to be watching the most are areas #2, #3 and #4. These are the areas that deal with the shape of the new, super EU presidency, the new EU Foreign Minister and the new EU defense structure.

The reason I say this is because of the existence of a 10-nation military alliance at the very heart of the EU in the Council of Europe. You see, according to Bible prophecy this revived Roman Empire is to fall under the control of an alliance of 10 kings and one man.

And this brings us to something very interesting in this report. The writer states:

The General Secretariat of the Council will provide secretarial support for the Conference and will draw on a network of 'contact points' within the member states and the Commission, as well as consult a group of legal experts from the 25 participating states.

What does this have to do with this revived Roman Empire falling under the control of an alliance of 10 kings and one man? Well, as I said, at this time there happens to be a 10 nation military alliance within the same Council that is being referred to above. And, guess what? Javier Solana, the head of this 10-nationa alliance, is also the Secretary General of the Council. In other words, Solana heads the General Secretariat that will be providing the Italian presidency secretarial support and legal assistance.

Could the stage now be set for the long awaited fulfillment of the end-times prophecies about the rise of 10 kings and one man?

Maybe.
