What Herb thinks
Seeds of Persecution

They're making it a religious war -- a Christian crusade against Islam. So suggests former Clinton advisor Sidney Blumenthal in an article published in the Guardian Read about it here.

Blumenthal is talking about evangelical Christians -- fundamentalists. And in his article he is suggesting that an evangelical Christian general may be responsible for the sexual abuse of prisoners in Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo. Not only that, it seems Blumenthal blames evangelical Christianity for everything wrong with President Bush's faltering Middle East policy. And, he's doing it in a left-leaning British publication where he knows his opinion will be well received.

Here we have a person who was once a senior advisor to former President Bill Clinton, on foreign soil sowing seeds of persecution. And don't think this wasn't planned. What we're seeing is part of the left's strategy to remove President Bush from office this November.

Here's my point: This is a religious war. But the ones who are making it a religious war aren't the evangelical Christians. It's the political and religious leaders who oppose fundamentalism in all it's forms because it stands in the way of their humanistic new world order.

Friends, the Antichrist's 3 1/2 year war against the Lamb and God's people is fast approaching. Already we're seeing his weapons of siege being created and moved into position. You'd think they'd know better. They're picking on the wrong guy. The apostle John wrote:

These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful (Revelation 17: 14 New American Standard Bible).

I don't know about you, but I'm going to stand with Him (Jesus).

He is Lord of lords and King of kings.
