Sending In The First String

The clock is ticking and the U.S. is sending in it's first string -- Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld (Read about it here)  (And here).

The EU leaders are in the final rounds of negotiations over their new military command structures, and things apparently aren't going in America's favor.

The Bush Administration understands this isn't just another game -- it's for the survival of NATO. Evidently, when both President Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell failed to stop the anti-American ball from rolling, Washington decided it was time to send in it's conservative heavy weight Rumsfeld.

But Rumsfeld is liked even less in Europe than Bush and Powell. It was Rusmfeld who infuriated France and Germany  by calling them "old Europe" for failing to support America's war in Iraq. Ironically, now it's the same Rumsfeld who appears to be America's last hope for saving NATO.

Will Rusmfeld succeed where Bush and Powell failed. I don't think so. You see, now more than ever it's important that we keep our eye on the ball -- the ball being the Bible prophecies. The prophecies indicate this revived Roman Empire we now see emerging in Europe will fall under the control of a 10-nation alliance and one man. And, as you know, this is what I suspect could now be happening.

Yes, the clock is ticking and the stakes are high.

Are you ready?
