This report was posted on our discussion board Read about it here. Although I haven't had time to research this information, I have a few observations. For one thing, once again we see how the EU's economic packages can be determined by the EU's seven-year budget period. The report says: The EU has invited Israel to join the EU Seventh Framework Programme for R&D. The EU Sixth Framework Programme for R&D, which terminates in 2006, amounted to €19 billion; Israel had to contribute €200 million to participate. The €70 billion EU Seventh Framework Programme for R&D will last for seven years. Notice the current program terminates in 2006 and the next program will be for another seven-year period. If you recall, the EU's current seven-year budget period ends at the end of 2006, and the next seven-year term begins on January, 1, 2007. In other words, this economic program being offered Israel will coincide with the EU's next seven-year budget term. As I've been reporting, the EU's primary foreign policy weapon is economic. This being the case, the EU's political agenda is also matched to its seven-year budget term. That's why, when we add all the events I've been reporting here at FulfilledProphecy together -- now including the European Neighborhood Policy and the sudden movement toward peace in the Middle East -- I suspect the EU's next seven-year budget period could also coincide with Daniel's 70th week. But, of course, it's too early to know for certain. So, please don't accuse me of date setting for only suggesting this possibility (it's already happened). I don't claim to know when the rapture or the Day of the Lord will occur. All I'm doing is reporting the political facts on the ground as I understand them. And, I'm doing it as honestly as I can. The way I see it, I think soon now, that 70th week will begin. Whether we like it or not. 03-22-05
