Yesterday's commentary was titled, Let the End-times Begin. Well, looking at these three news reports from Europe, it looks like they are!

The first is the incredible news Joschka Fischer has dropped out of the race for the new, super EU's foreign minister (Read about it here). Although I've been expecting something of this nature to happen, it still startled me.

If you've been following my commentaries, you know why I've been expecting this. I've always believed the other personality in the race, the EU's High Representative Javier Solana, would end up getting the job. In fact, in a recent commentary I even speculated the decision had already been made for Solana to become the EU's new foreign minister (Read it here).

Why did I always think Solana would get the job? Because I believe Solana is the only man on the scene in Europe who is leaving the foretold political trail behind him. If you want to know all the fascinating details about Solana, my new paperback is available (Learn more). 

Never-the-less, I was still startled by this news. You see, it's one thing to speculate about what may happen based on Bible prophecy, it's another thing to actually see it happen. And when it does, it still takes my breath away.

The next report is about a meeting of EU heads in Rome to discuss the new, super EU's defense strategy  (Read about it here). It's interesting to me this sudden meeting coincides with the announcement Fischer is dropping out of the EU's new foreign minister race. I think something may be going on here. And, this is where the third report comes into the picture.

The third report is about Britain's attempt to stop the so-called "gang of four" -- France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg -- from establishing a defense headquarters for the new, super EU outside NATO (Read about it here). Like I said, something is going on here and I think these three reports are very much related.

What do I think is going on? If you recall, in the middle of all of this intrigue there exists a 10 nation military alliance under the leadership of Solana. And, if these nations are the foretold 10-horns of prophecy, it's possible we could soon see three being pulled out by the roots (Daniel 7:8).

This is what I think: It's actually possible the stage is now being set in Europe where the world may soon witness the fulfillment of the prophecies about the rise of the Antichrist.
