Solana Pitches His "World Order"

Here's a scary piece of information. Did you know 11 of the 15 EU heads of state are what's known as center-left? In other words, they are socialists.

This year, on July 11-13, the world's center-left leaders will be holding their Progressive Governance Conference in London. The gathering will be hosted  by British Prime Minister Tony Blair and have important leftist speakers, like Germany's Gerhard Schröder (Read about it here).

The leftist speaker that caught my eye, however, was Javier Solana. Solana once described himself as a pragmatic Marxist. Evidently, Solana will be there to pitch his new "world order."

Here's why this is interesting to me: If you recall, on the 19th of June Solana delivered his new, 10-page security doctrine to the EU heads at their summit in Greece. And, part of his plan called for the EU to build a new international order.

After the EU's summit, Solana went to Washington for the EU/US summit where he pitched his new "world order" idea to President Bush. Later, it was announced that some kind of agreement between the EU and the US was reached.

A few days later, news came that Solana had negotiated a deal between the EU, NATO and Russia for the creation of a pan-European catastrophe center. This center would be made up of both civilian and military elements from every nation on the European continent.

Now, Solana will be attending a huge gathering of the world's leading socialist leaders. And, once again he'll be pitching his new "world order."

I wonder how many will be buying?

Stay tuned.
