The Sharon Effect

That Israeli tank is a mean looking machine. And, according to this report Read about it here, there are many more of these mean machines surrounding Gaza right now. If I were one of those terrorists who were shooting rockets at innocent Israelis, I think I'd be looking for a hole to hide in right now. Call it the Sharon effect.

While this is going on, the British are reacting to their own 9/11. Saturday Prime Minister Tony Blair said that the West was fighting more than just terrorism. He said the West was fighting an  "evil ideology" Read about it here. 

What is the UK doing about terror? For one thing, the UK is installing electronic borders. They call them eBorders Read about it here. What do these eBorders do? They are a people tracking system. And, guess what. They are to be fully up and running by 2010.

Let's put this together. It appears the EU, under the UK presidency, may be preparing to fight an ideology war. And, at the same time, the UK is implementing a human tracking system that is to be on the scene in 2010. This is the middle of the EU's next seven-year budget term.

In the meantime, Israelis are fighting Israelis and Palestinians are fighting Palestinians and Israeli tanks are surrounding Gaza.
