In my mind I can see some of the EU heads turning to their first High Representative and saying, "Javier, it's time to deliver." You see, Javier Solana's Euro-Mediterranean Partnership for Peace has been on the EU's books since 1995, and it hasn't been working. So, I believe some of the EU heads have begun saying that it's either time for Solana's Euro-Med to start paying off, or the EU must consider something -- and of course, someone -- else. Of course, not all EU heads necessarily feel that way -- especially those from nations bordering the Mediterranean region. In fact, I suspect that's one reason Spain, France and Italy have authored a Middle East peace plan for consideration at the EU's coming December summit. They don't want to see the Euro-Med Partnership sidelined. And besides, they know that if ever there was an opening for their European Mediterranean dream to become a reality it's now Read about it here. So, as far as its EU sponsors are concerned, the Euro-Med nations are gathering today and tomorrow for more than just another Euromed ministerial summit Read about it here. They're gathering in an attempt to revive the faltering Middle East peace process by way of their faltering Euro-Med Partnership -- which, ironically, they're trying to revive too EuroMed pdf. There is one sentence in the pdf document posted above that I think is worth special attention to those who are struggling to make sense of things. On page 3 it says: Acting in synergy with the European Neighbourhood Policy, the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership remains the only regional forum where political and security dialogue among all Euro-Mediterranean partners is possible; ... After reading the entire document it should become clear that certain elements within the EU are attempting to make the EU's Euro-Mediterranean Partnership for Peace the platform upon which a comprehensive peace -- as called for in UN Resolution 1701 -- can be finally established. And, if this is truly the case, it should be obvious to us students of Bible prophecy that Solana's 1995 agreement could very possibly be the foretold covenant with many that's foretold in Daniel 9:27 -- and that's confirmed for seven years. This brings us back to Javier Solana, the EU's first High Representative. As you may know, a rumor was recently floated that Solana may be thinking about stepping down. But, as I've been reporting, I suspect that what's really being suggested to the EU heads is either Solana gets his new Foreign Minister post as promised, or he may retire and let them handle their big mess alone. And their dilemma is, Solana has made himself far to valuable -- and he knows it. So, with or with out the constitution, I believe Solana has begun telling them exactly what they're telling him -- it's time to deliver Read about it here. I know what I'm reporting isn't welcome. I also know that not being welcome doesn't make my message either false or true. But, the way I see it, I'm just a reporter. And, it's my job to deliver too. Hope you stay tuned. 11-27-2006
