Why is an observation made by former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer important? It's because of a little known piece of history -- Fischer is the one who came up with the so-called "road map" to Middle East peace Read about it here. In other words, Fischer is a player. In fact, not long ago Fischer was running neck and neck with the EU's Javier Solana in the race for the EU's new, super Foreign Minster post. Although Solana won the race, Fischer has remained an EU insider of considerable influence. So, his analysis of this ongoing crisis in the Middle East is highly credible. I noticed Fischer said basically the same thing that Blair said today to an American audience Read it here. The difference was, Fischer was speaking to an Israeli audience. I think I know why. As Blair is loved by many Americans, Fischer is loved by many Israelis. In other words, Fischer was tasked to pitch the same deal that Blair was, but to a different audience. And, we are also hearing that Germany is considering participating in the international force that will be going into southern Lebanon. As you know, Germany is an important member of Solana's 10-nation WEU alliance. And, like I said, Fischer is a former top German official. Are you seeing the picture? There appears to be a single strategy playing out in solving this crisis. If so, that may imply a single intellect -- we could say, a single voice. And, if you've been following FP, you know who the owner of that voice might be -- the first Mr. Europe, Javier Solana. The man who's Office is directly identified in two places with the number of prophecy --- 666. If so, the response that we're seeing to this crisis had its beginning when on June 19, 2003, Solana delivered his new 10-page security doctrine to the EU heads at their June summit. On the 25th of June Solana, and the other members of the EU's Troika, went to Washington for their annual EU/US summit. There it was decided that, from then on, the EU and the US would start fighting the Western world's war against terror together. At the time, the details to what was agreed was secret. But, in this crisis some of those details may be coming into the open. And, what disturbs me, the man who appears to be leading the West's war against terror is Solana. While we're on the subject of the war against terror, think for a moment about all the free trade zones that are to be complete in 2010. And, consider that recent report by the New York Times about how the US government was secretly tracking financial transactions. I suspect the real reason the West is implementing free trade zones all around the world is for security reasons -- for their war against terror, and economic reasons are secondary. Just think about it: In 2010 the Western powers will be able to track all financial transactions and merchandise on a global scale. For us students of Bible prophecy, it may be time for us to set aside our minor doctrinal differences about how the end-time events will play out. If what we're seeing is the fulfillment of the prophecies, it won't be long until this war is turned in our direction. If so, we need to stop arguing over what now may be relatively unimportant matters. They're thinking big. It's time we do too. 07-28-2006
