For the EU's first High Representative it's a dream come true. After almost single handedly creating a credible force for the European Union (EU), he's now asked to create a credible force for the United Nations (UN). The backbone of Solana's EU force is his 10-nation Western European Union (WEU) alliance. In fact, I heard this morning Belgium finally agreed to send troops. Once we hear that the Netherlands has agreed, all 10 of the WEU nations will have committed.

The reason this is a dream come true for Solana is, from the beginning, empowering the UN has been one of his goals. Back in 2003 Solana developed a new security doctrine for the EU. Not long ago, Solana offered his forces to become the backbone of the UN's official military. Solana's dream may be coming true.

Then we have the 10-horned revived Roman Empire prophecies to consider (Daniel 7:7-8, Revelation 13:1). We also have the Holy Land prophecies (Daniel 9:26-27).
