Thanks to all FPers for the outpouring of prayer, words of encouragement and financial support for my father, Herb, and our family. He and all of us have been strengthened during this time. We've been reading the comments on the discussion board aloud as a family and are having a wonderful time reflecting on all God has done through FP.

On the one hand, he's glad that many people have become aware of the significant events that have occured -- like just this morning he was talking about the development of the Alliance of Civilizations and how he believes it may well be the apparatus for the coming war on the saints.  On the other hand, he's been even more blessed to hear of those who, after being confronted with the information on this site, have come to faith in God or have come back to faith in God. As he has always said, he believes God gave us prophecy to show that the Bible is truly the Word of God. The study of prophecy started Herb on the road toward Christ over 30 years ago, and now he's getting ready for the final leg of his journey.

This morning he was also talking with our family about Jesus' meeting with the woman at the well and how "neat" a person Jesus was to reach out to someone that no one else wanted anything to do with. He said that's what Jesus has done with him and with all of us. 

As you know, all of us in the FP family are going through a transition. It's my full intent that FP continue strong not only as a communtity, but also as a place to keep an eye on world events. I appreciate your prayers and support as I take up the baton that has been passed to me. Undoubtedly some things will change. But I'd like to encourage all the FP faithful to continue doing what you're already doing -- sharing the information from this site, posting newsworthy items on the discussion board and supporting one another. My dad has been saying he believes God has much more in store for FP.
