As I wrote my "Stand-Alone Faith" commentary, I could already feel the attacks coming. In fact, it was partly this awareness that guided me in my writing.

You see, as far as accurately reporting what's going on in Europe, I've been standing pretty much alone since I discovered Recommendation 666 in December of 2000. And, I could never understand why. After all, what I was reporting was exactly what Hal Lindsey's Best Selling book, The Late Great Planet Earth, was suggesting would happen. This being the case, why was I alone reporting it? Why wasn't Lindsey, or one of the other leading prophecy teachers, standing with me?

In time, it finally dawned on me. It was because I said I was rapture neutral. That means, I don't support the teaching of the pre-tribulation doctrine as a fact. In my opinion, the doctrine has never been established beyond a theory. That being the case, I believe God's people need to stay open to other possibilities. For this, I'm attacked.

In the meantime, the news continues to suggest the end-time events are on the move. It's being reported the EU's High Representative will be speaking at the opening of an Arab summit being held in Algeria Read about it here. Besides working on establishing an Arab common market by 2015, these Arab leaders will be discussing normalizing relations with Israel. 

Friends, where there's smoke there's fire. Something is motivating these Middle Eastern leaders to suddenly decide to make peace. And, I suspect it's Solana's new European Neighborhood Policy. In order for these nations to participate, they have to first make peace with each other. In other words, we're already seeing results from Solana's attempt at reviving, or confirming, his 1995 Euro-Mediterranean Partnership for Peace.

If so, I expect the attacks against me to increase. Why? Because, the end-time events may not happen exactly the way we've been told.
