Today's news is bulging with unanswered questions. Perhaps the most serious question is, why is North Korea's Pyongyang suddenly throwing his hat into an already boiling pot? Just as one international nuclear crisis seems to be easing with Iran, North Korea begins another -- this time it's over nuclear missiles Read about it here. I suspect the answer to our first question is simple -- Iran and North Korea are working together. And, this leads to our second question -- why are they working together? Again, our answer may be simple. In his January 2002 State of the Union speech, President Bush labeled three countries his so-called "axis of evil" -- Iraq, Iran and North Korea. Since then, Iraq has been taken down. It's only natural they fear they could be next. I encourage to read again President Bush's 2002 speech. In it he spells out why these nations pose such a serious threat to American interests and Western values. And, it is my opinion the Iranian nuclear crisis and the North Korean missile crisis are now proving him right. Now the big question before us is what can we do about these threats. Evidently, the Pentagon has been busying attempting to develop and deploy a missile shield Read about it here. But, nobody knows if it's even going to work. And, the interested parties are many. You see, this new crisis is not just a concern to the Untied States. It also concerns many other nations who suddenly find themselves within striking distance of Pyongyang's new nuclear capable missiles Read about it here I And here. This brings us to my last questions. Is North Korea only testing their new missile, or could they also be testing America's new missile shield. Could America's allies also be seeing the crisis as a test of America's security umbrella? Come to think of it, could America be seeing the crisis as a big test too -- a test of her missile shield ... a test of her resolve? So, who's test is it? 06-19-06
